Thank you for sharing these photos! The Sandhill Cranes also winter in Louisiana! There are only two places in Louisiana that they winter and we are lucky enough to have them right here near our home. We drive the 3-4 miles down the road to the fields where they like to feed, and we watch and photograph them ourselves.
How exciting that must be for you Suzanne. I’m green with envy.
