Cattle, corn, wheat, beans, mud, snow, ice, and drought. Plenty of fresh air and quiet. Our life is sometimes heartbreaking, sometimes joyous, but never boring.
I love this picture – the varying undulations of the earth, the colors, the light – nice shot. I have just discovered your “Window on the Prairie”. I admire anyone that can write about ordinary things with a sense of humor. I’m really enjoying them. Your story about the mosquitos in Nebraska made my skin crawl a little bit – I hate mosquitos. I’d say you went above and beyond for those pictures and it paid off. I guess that’s why I’m just a mediocre photographer. I need ideal conditions – no bugs.

Thank you Jill. Keep shooting. It’s like everything else, the more you do it, the more it will improve.
