Big Brown Bat

Here’s what a Big Brown Bat looks like when he’s minding his own business and getting some shut-eye.

And here’s what he looks like when a pesky human tries to shoo him away with a broom.

 

After seeing his toothy grimace, we decided it was just fine for him to stay right where he was.

Luckily, this morning he was gone. Whew.

    Oh my gosh! Wow! What a creepy looking creature. I guess I would leave him alone too. Plus if he eats up mosquitoes I’m all for that!

    I like bats. I think they’re totally misunderstood. Besides, like Peggy said, he’s worth his weight in mosquito control!!

      Yes, but he needs to work on his interpersonal skills. A simple ” Leave me alone” would have been better than all that teeth baring. 🙂

  8. Yowza! I’m not a fan of bats!! They creep me out. I know that they are greatly misunderstood..I know..and I am sorry to the little creatures. You really got some great shots! Wow!! those teeth!!
