Suzanne

Cattle, corn, wheat, beans, mud, snow, ice, and drought. Plenty of fresh air and quiet. Our life is sometimes heartbreaking, sometimes joyous, but never boring.

I was shivering just watching this…stay safe and warm my friend!

Suzanne said “Crap” but Harland kept it steady. Good man, good truck!
I love your local landscape but not this time of year and I can barely tolerate MO in this weather as well.
Drove home last night on snow/ice packed roads here in Randolph county. Could not go more than 40 on 63 or the car had a mind to travel a different route!
Had a lovely evening with my sister in front of her fireplace drinking eggnog and munching on treats before heading home. At least the traffic wasn’t heavy by then. It looks like a winter wonderland this morning since we have so much cover to stop the wind from blowing it all away! Take care, and Kitty, you can spend a day or two in the house.

  3. Uh, I think Kitty got the memo that it was no day to go to work. Now, did you not read that one? I know, I’m a wimp. I never did get the hang of driving in snow and ice the two years I lived in cold country. If the roads weren’t clear and dry, I didn’t drive. Thankfully, I took the bus to work at the time.

Stay warm. Merry Christmas to you and Harland and Kitty. I do love to keep up with your doings.

The wind and snow are whipping here in Michigan too, this morning. Gtound is covered and I’m real happy I don’t have any place to go.
And my kitty is glad to be in and on the register today.

    Kitty made a wise choice!

I enjoyed my “ride” in the snow with you and Harland. Thank you very much!

Isn’t it a wonderfully, safe, secure, loved feeling when hubby drives us to work in such stormy conditions!?
Merry Christmas to you and Harland and Kitty! We enjoy your posts and pictures so very much. Thank you.

Looks like we got a bit more snow out of that storm than you did. Merry Christmas to you and Harland

That’s what it looks like here in Ohio. We’ve probably got two-three” on the ground, and it’s been super windy, your video looked like it was taped here. We’ve got allot of drifting and white outs. I really love winter, everything about it except the ice. My little mini dachshund, Tess…..has refused to go out very much, she’d rather suffer.

Nice snowy, cold drive to work. Glad Harland drove you to work. That’s great! My husband used to drive me to the outlet mall when I worked there and the employees had to park aways away so shoppers could park there. It was easy going but coming home was longer. It was nice of him to do that even though I could have walked but not at night coming home. Don’t wanna start the day out tired! I’ve been cold most of the day and I felt almost cold just watching your trip to town. We’ve only had rain! And wind. Happy Christmas!

It’s the little things…………..hubby driving you to work in bad weather. He’s a sweetheart. I love winter but not driving in it, particularly.

Your video sure takes me back to being a little girl growing up on a farm with my 7 siblings not far from where you are now. Hope you two and Kitty have a wonderful Christmas, stay warm and cozy, and treat yourselves to some holiday goodies. Peace and good health to you all!

I really enjoyed the drive in the snow – from the safety of my home. I think Kitty had the right idea. I Hope you and Harland, and Kitty of course, have a very Merry Christmas!

I am with Kitty, stay inside where it is warm! =)

Oh my word that is cold!! I lived in Montana for many years but you could give them a run for their money. Stay warm everyone back there on the Plains.
