Crappy Two-Percent Milk

I’ve just poured milk into Kitty’s dish. She looks forward to this all day.

But wait…. What’s going on here?

Me:  (Being sarcastic) “Kitty, you’re going to have to get closer to your milk to drink it.”

Miss Kitty:  (deadpan)  “Who said I wanted to drink it?”

Me:  (with enthusiasm) “It’s your afternoon treat!”

Miss Kitty:  (deadpan) “It tastes more like punishment.”

Me: “Oh Kitty….  This is what we drink here. We’re watching our waists.”

Kitty:  “I’m not.  I want fresh whole cream.”

Me:  “We’re watching your waist for you. You have a tendency to gain weight without hardly eating anything.”

Kitty:   *sigh*

Kitty: “Someday, I’m going to escape from this prison and run away to the land of milk and honey.”

Me (The Warden):  “We love you anyway Kitty.”

You need a cow…just for kitty! Maybe you should have kept “the prisoner” penned up a while longer to accommodate kitty’s needs! 🙂

  2. LOL!! Poor little Princess Kitty.

🙂 Pardon my chuckles! This was really cute, especially with the tiara on Miss Kitty! I was sort of surprised that she went ahead and drank it! Cats can be so persnickety!

P.S. It would be very interesting to know why my copy of Window on the Prairie doesn’t come until late in the day! It just showed up a few minutes ago. I’ve noticed that before….

It’s an RSS feed thing…I subscribe to other blogs too, and the feeds don’t show up until about 12 hours later. Not sure why, but it’s out of my control unfortunately.

Oh. I was wondering if it might just be my server! I had just noticed that others had written comments quite a bit earlier than when I received my copy. It doesn’t really matter! I just enjoy your writings and pictures!! Thanks!

How old is Kitty? She still looks like a Kitten! Does Kitty zip around the house going at least 90 miles an hour? She needs to keep up her strength mom. ;- )

    • Suzanne says:

About 6 years old. And yes, she does zip around the house at 90mph. She likes to grab our leg on the way past and keep running. My life expectancy is a little shorter every day because of her. 🙂
