Look what Harland got me for my upcoming birthday!
And he bought me some attachments for it too:
- post hole digger
- forks for lifting pallets
- brush grappler
- tree and post puller
He’s also got his eye on a bucket so I can lift and carry things too. I’m so excited!!!
What a romantic devil he is……
I know wives who received chain saws for their birthdays and a battery charger for an anniversary present. The world is full of romantic men!
At least you know you are loved! 🙂
It’s a John Deere. That means he’s just crazy about you.
Are you allowed to take your friends for rides around the paddocks?~! If so, I’d like to go onto the waiting list !~! Lads of love in that present, Suzanne, he’s the most romantic husband ever.
My husband won’t let me have power tools – I’ve always wanted a chain saw. I think Harland REALLY, REALLY loves you!
I feel your pain Laura. My father always said NO! when I wanted to chop wood or use the chainsaw. Oddly enough, I was allowed to do every other activity needed to burn wood for heat!!! This many years later, I buy my wood cut and split 😉
Oh good grief! Last year a bucket truck and now this. Will the blessings never end?
Uh huh, romantic devil indeed. So, what’s he getting for his birthday? A new ring, or a new camera, or what?
Wow! You know he loves your since he threw in the attachments too! I think you should get him a new dress for his birthday or some yarn. But it’s the though that counts. i once got new tires for Christmas.
Ohhh, YAY! Boy tools ARE the best gifts for some of us! I love my (personally purchased) “boy” tools!
Did he give you the receipt? I would return this gift for a pink one! I could use a ridding vacuum cleaner, maybe I should start hinting tomorrow?
I love Glenda’s and Carol’s comments!! And the more I think about it, I think a pink one is a really great idea!!
And maybe Carol should buy HER man a riding vacuum cleaner!! 🙂 It’s all too funny!
Does Harland ever give you girly gifties?
Sure.. He actually can be quite a romantic. <3
By the way – – What’s that think called, anyway?
It’s a skid steer loader. Very versatile piece of equipment for all kinds of jobs.
I’m jealous! If I had the money I’d have a Bobcat Toolcat with a bunch of attachments where I could ride in heated or air conditioned comfort and see what is going on in front. Harland will save many man hours and back strain with his/your birthday present.
How awesome! I’m awfully jealous of that nice piece of equipment. Happy birthday!
