Where Are We?

Sometimes when we drive the back-roads  we get lost. Unfortunately, we are so far off the beaten path that even our Garmin (nicknamed Bertha) doesn’t know where we are.

But Bertha does her best with what she does know:

Thanks Bertha!

Actually, we kinda like getting lost, don’t you?

Thanks for all the questions for Farmer Harland over the last few days. There was such a great response with so many outstanding questions, that I’ve created a link to his question page there on the left hand column. Click on the link to go to his page and then leave a comment. He’ll answer your question in less than 24 hours, usually much less.

He’s already thinking of the answers to your questions:

So click on the link there on the left, or HERE, and ask away!

Cattle, corn, wheat, beans, mud, snow, ice, and drought. Plenty of fresh air and quiet. Our life is sometimes heartbreaking, sometimes joyous, but never boring.

Where else but in Kansas 🙂 will you find a GPS with one straight road and nothing else on it?!

When I was a child we would all pile into the car & go for a Sunday drive. On many of those trips we would get lost. My Mom would get worried but my Dad would always say were having an adventure.

These days I love to go for a drive & get lost. I have found many interesting places that I never would have found.

Suzanne, have you ever been to Winona Ks. ?
I was there in the 70’s visiting an Uncle. At that time there wasn’t much left to the town & now that all my relatives are gone I wonder if there is still anyone living there.
If you do ever get there would you take a picture ?

    Thanks

I have no clue to where you are/were! But on a related note – we have a Honda Odyssey which has a navigator built in. Very nice. The first time 2nd #1 Daughter heard the feminine voice she said “That sounds like Veronica!” So Veronica it is! What else would we call it in a van named Vroomer?!! 😉
