Back Home
After a bad case of pneumonia which required surgery to drain the infection and a week long hospital stay, my Mom is finally out of the hospital. It will be many weeks before she is back to her old self, so she is staying with my sister is Missouri. I went down to the hospital in Columbia, Missouri, last weekend, and stayed with her until she was released on Thursday. I dropped her off at my sister’s, and then headed home late Thursday evening. It was so good to get home to Harland, Kitty, and Muffy.
Chaos had occurred in my absence:
But toliet and paper towel rolls were soon turned the correct way and all was well.
Thank you for all your prayers and good wishes. They mean a lot to me and my Mom.
I’ll be back soon with updates on both Daisy and Donald, plus other doings here on the farm.

You got me to smile with your chaos blog. So cute!
Glad to hear your mom is doing better. I’ve been sending up little prayers throughout the days every time your blog comes to mind. Hope all continues to go well with her recovery.
Happy Easter to you and your wonderful family!
Thanks for the prayers Monica! Much appreciated!
Happy Easter to you and yours!
LOL! Of course guys never know which way to put TP on!
Oh well, sounds like he has other great qualities! Or was it the kitties who played with the TP? Hmmm……
Good to know your Mom doing better! Hope you all have a great Easter! Glad you can be home!
Thanks Debbie! Happy Easter to you and yours as well!
Wait! Wait! That tp roll is on backwards! I won’t be able to sleep tonight! 🙂
Really…I’m so glad to hear your Mom is doing better, and glad she has you and her sister to care for her while she was sick and is now hopefully on the road to recovery.
Exactly Alica. I got home about midnight, but I got the TP roll fixed before I went to bed. 🙂
Thanks for the good wishes Alica. Happy Easter!
I’m so happy to hear that your dear mother is doing better! I prayed for her healing, and will continue to do so!
Oh for goodness’ sake! How could he have lived with that TP roll backwards!! That’s just unreal!! Unless… Could it have been? No! Not Muffin! I hope Harland doesn’t mind our teasing!
Have a Happy and Blessed Easter!!
Anything is possible with Muffin..would’t surprise me one bit if he was responsible.
Thanks Jeanne, and Happy Easter to you and yours!
I’m so glad to hear your mother’s out of the hospital. That’s such a relief — It will make a much happier Easter for you all. I’m sending continued prayers for recovery, and every good wish for a happy and blessed Easter.
It’s a guy thing! They seem to all put it backwards. Thanks for the chuckle, Happy Easter, and I’m glad your mom is recovering okay.
