Summer Skies

The warmer temperatures and rising humidity we’ve been having lately have created the first summer rainstorms of the year. With these come beautiful moody skies.

It’s easy to get busy with everything that has to be done on a daily basis, and not to notice the beauty provided right before my eyes.

How about you? Have you noticed the beauty around you today?

What sights move your soul?

Cattle, corn, wheat, beans, mud, snow, ice, and drought. Plenty of fresh air and quiet. Our life is sometimes heartbreaking, sometimes joyous, but never boring.

I always try to take the time to notice the beautiful things around me–sky, flowers, animals. You’ve done a great job capturing the beauty of the skies.

  3. we just had our first thunder and lightning storms here the other day too! (sw Pa, just north of Pittsburgh). To me, there is nothing better than a good summer thunderstorm. The sights that move my soul this time of year are the lush, green, rolling hills of Pennsylvania. I have been traveling these roads for years and I am STILL taken back by the beauty! It is my favorite thing about this state.

      Hello Bonnie,
I’ve never been to PA, but have heard how beautiful it is. Would like to visit someday.
      Take care,
