Video Of Cutest Calf Ever

I wanted to post this video of the “Cutest Calf Ever” yesterday, but our internet was down, and then we were out shopping, so here we are.

Anywho, I took this video of little squirt the same time as when I took the pics in the earlier post. He/she was less than 24 hours old. (Be sure to turn your speakers up so you can hear the birds chirping!)

.

I’ve watched this over and over. I just love how he/she blinks their eyes.

Blink…..blink……blink.

Listen for the mournful sound of a passing train. Empty coal trains headed for Wyoming pass through the pasture on our farm.

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

Cattle, corn, wheat, beans, mud, snow, ice, and drought. Plenty of fresh air and quiet. Our life is sometimes heartbreaking, sometimes joyous, but never boring.

This is GREAT. those eyelashes just flutter like a 16 year old girl at the mall!!! I too enjoyed the train sounds. sure miss that, grew up about 2 blocks from Santa Fe tracks and been gone a long time but still get excited when I hear that sound. You can keep that wind tho. we have had too much lately.. Thanks for Fuzzys picture!!!!!

That baby is just way to adorable. And seems so alert.
The train is something I hear everyday! Kinda neat some days how when the atmosphere is just right it sounds like it’s out in the woods back of the house, instead of in front over 1/4 mi. away. Love the video, Thanks.

It is SO quiet where you live!!!Because I live in a large city all I hear is traffic, sirens, garbage trucks, kids, dogs etc. But I do hear the train at night…it’s pretty cool to hear that lonely whistle. The calf is so pretty with those huge eyes and pink nose but is also very quiet.

Once I had a job in the city, and I about went crazy. Never anywhere was there quiet. I couldn’t take it. Then I met Harland and fell in love with his quiet farm, ahem, I mean I fell in love with him, yeah that’s right. 🙂
