Terrapin Creek

Down the bottom of the hill near the railroad tracks and bordering the cattle pasture runs Terrapin Creek. I’ve shown you this creek before when I took pics of the little waterfall there.  It nearly went dry last summer in the drought, but with our recent rains, the creek is running again.

A wonderful sight.

Cattle, corn, wheat, beans, mud, snow, ice, and drought. Plenty of fresh air and quiet. Our life is sometimes heartbreaking, sometimes joyous, but never boring.

Lovely sight Suzanne, do you see any turtles around Terripin Creek?

I avoided a snapper sitting in the road yesterday here in MO. I wondered if your fast drying ground has allowed for any corn planting to have been done yet?

      We avoided one too.
Harland planted corn for a couple days about 3 weeks ago. It’s still not up due to all the cold weather. He thinks he’ll have to replant.
