Spray Plane

Me: Hey Harland, is that plane spraying a sunflower field for bugs?

Harland:  Nope.

Me:   Is he spraying the cornfield?

Harland:  Nope.

Me:  What then?

Harland:  Turnip seed.

Me:  What?!  Once more. I didn’t hear right.

Harland:  He’s dropping turnip seed on the cornfield. It will germinate by the time the corn is harvested this fall.  When the cattle are turned in to graze on the corn stalks, there will be turnip greens to graze on as well.

Me:  So the plane is dropping turnip seed?

Harland:  Yep.

Me:  Well I’ll be.

Harland:  Yep.
