Kitty and the Meaning Of Life

Me:  Hey Kitty, you promised you would tell me what the meaning of life is today.

Kitty: Ok, but I have to eat supper now. Have to keep up my strength for all the work you make me do around here.

Me:  Alright. We’ll just wait until you’re ready to reveal to the world what the meaning of life is. We’ve waited this long, we can wait a little longer.

Kitty:  Mmmmm…..purr purr….crunch crunch crunch….

Me:   Kitty?

Kitty:   Purr purr….crunch crunch crunchity crunch

Me:  Kitty??

Kitty:  Are you still here? Come back tomorrow. I’ll let you know what the meaning of life is then.

Me:  Oh really Kitty! You don’t know, do you?

Kitty:  How do you know I don’t know?  After all,  you don’t know and so who are you to judge what I don’t know and when I don’t know it?

Me:   ??????   Kitty, you’re the limit, but we love you anyway.

She sounds amazingly like my kitty when I ask her important questions. Saturday night she was unable to tell me why, for the first time ever, she peed on my bedroom chair–not locked in, no dogs in living room where door to outside is, no blockages between her and the litter box !~? I don’t know why, perhaps your kitty does….

      Oh dear, Lynda,
I would wonder too like Tina commented if she is not feeling well, or something is wrong if she’s never done this before. Hope she has not done it again since then.

Two things. Number one, in response to Linda M O the person who had the first reply. Watch your kitty carefully because when cats go potty in the wrong places and nothing is wrong it usually means they may be sick and trying to get your attention. This happened to me. My wonderful kitty almost died.
Number two, Suzanne I love your Kitty posts. She is so pretty and I love how hard she works. I ask mine to vacuum and dust everyday when I leave for work and they always have some excuse!

I’ll say it once again: posts about Kitty are my favorites. My own sweet feline, Sundae, will be the star of my blog tomorrow. (I think she’s already getting an inflated ego.)

      Hi Dianna,
If Sundae is like most cats, she already has an inflated ego. 🙂 Loved your post about Sundae. I see that view of my cat every morning. She has no snooze alarm either. 🙂

I love the Kitty posts too. She and my Jenny could be twins!

  5. You were on the floor taking those pictures, weren’t you? 😉

    We love Kitty too.

Yes Justina. And I used an external flash off to the right. Kitty thought it odd, but hey, she was busy eating – the most important time of the day for her.

  6. Awww! That was so cute! She just seems like the sweetest Kitty in the world. I’m thinking she probably wants to go rest on that warm dryer where she naps. I love that one photo you posted a while ago of her on the dryer. If I was a cat, I for sure, would be napping on a warm dryer…heck, after all, I like to lay down on warm driveways and sidewalks!! Ha Ha!
