Here’s the video I promised you of the bison herd at Maxwell Wildlife refuge as they are fed range cubes, a diet supplement containing grain products and minerals.

Sounded like a very windy day! Was it cold?
Hard to believe there were once millions of these animals on the American plains!
Windy and cold, about the 20s or so. My fingers were getting stiff. And I also had to – well, let’s just say my morning coffee had kicked in, and there’s no facility on the prairie. 🙂

I’ve wondered what they sound like – very deep voices. That surprizes me that they are that deep. Thought maybe more like cattle. Interesting critters. Thanks for the video.
To me they sound like walruses. 🙂
